MATRIMONIO CONCORDATARIO

Il parroco deve fare richiesta di pubblicazione per la Casa comunale. Tale richiesta deve essere consegnata all'Ufficio di stato civile. L'Ufficio provvederà a richiedere i documenti necessari via fax e poi contatterà gli sposi per effettuare le pubblicazioni per 8 giorni; quindi rilascerà il certificato di eseguite pubblicazioni che sarà consegnato al parroco.

Le pubblicazioni decadono dopo 180 gg. dalla data di fine pubblicazione.

Documenti necessari per contrarre matrimonio:
- richiesta di pubblicazione dei nubendi firmata con allegata fotocopia della carta d'identità;

per i cittadini stranieri: 

NULLA OSTA al matrimonio ai sensi dell'art. 116 C.C. rilasciato dall'ambasciata o Consolato in Roma in lingua italiana, vidimato e legalizzato dalla Prefettura di Roma - Ufficio legalizzazione Via Ostiense 131/L 

passaporto non scaduto; 

se lo straniero è residente in Italia con permesso di soggiorno regolare deve prima del matrimonio effettuare le pubblicazioni nel comune di residenza; 

se gli sposi non parlano italiano deve essere nominato un interprete;

per i residenti in Italia:

certificato di residenza e stato libero rilasciati dal comune di residenza (certificati richiesti via fax dal Comune).

MATRIMONIO CIVILE

Occorrono gli stessi documenti del matrimonio concordatario tranne la richiesta del parroco.

Cosa occorre:

• delega da parte del comune che ha effettuato la pubblicazione di matrimonio
• fotocopia dei documenti degli sposi e dei 2 testimoni;
• codice fiscale.

Per la scelta del giorno della celebrazione del matrimonio è necessario contattare l'Ufficio dello stato civile

 (Religious Ceremonies)

The parish priest must apply to the Town Hall for posting of the banns,  by applying at the Civil Registry Office. This office will request the necessary documents via fax  and will then contact the betrothed to effect  the posting  of the banns for 8 days. An executive certificate of  posting  of   banns   will then  be issued and delivered to the priest. If the marriage does not take place within 180 days, the posting of banns becomes invalid and will need to be repeated. 

 Documents required for foreigners:

1. Nulla Osta or declaration, of no impediment for the wedding, in Italian  and according to the law article 116 C.C, issued by the Embassy or Consulate of Rome,  document to be authenticated and  legalized by the Prefecture of Rome-office of authentication in Via Ostiense 131/L  (Prefettura di Roma-ufficio legalizzazione Via Ostiense 131/L), 

2. valid passport, 

3. In case both or one of the parties is Italian or has a regular residence permit,  then banns (wedding announcement)  must be posted for at least eight consecutive days (including two consecutive Sundays) and the wedding cannot occur before the fourth day following the completion of the banns. If neither of  the couple is Italian nor lives in Italy then the posting of banns is not required. 

4. An  interpreter must be nominated if the betrothed cannot speak Italian.

For residents in Italy:

• residence and marital status certificate issued by the municipality of residence (certificates requested by fax by the municipality)

CIVIL WEDDING

Same documents required  as for the wedding of concordat except the application of the parish priest. Ceremony of the civil wedding takes place at the "Palazzo Comunale" (Town Council Hall or at the  Mayor's  office) , and is paid through postal order.

For non residents:

Required:

• delegation certificate of the Town Hall posting the banns
• copy of valid passport/document of the betrothed and 2 witnesses
• tax number

It is necessary to contact the Registry Office  for choice of the wedding day.

These beautiful gardens are nestled between the Orsini Palace (today seat of the town hall) and a medieval tower (part of the 16th century fortification in a high position and overlooking part of the old town and the lake, with the possibility to accommodate also more then 200 persons.
